Dame Area are Silvia Konstance Costan and Viktor L. Crux of Barcelona‘s Màgia Roja label/collective and they must‘ve been listening to the whole of the legendary ‚Nurse With Wound list‘—from A to Z—and then manufactured all those influences to their own complex thing. At least that would explain this elegant mesh of industrial, post-punk, wave (whatever those terms mean) etc. that Dame Area create. The sounds are mostly done by machines and human touches.

"Immagina il passato, ricorda il futuro" is release #3 of Dame Area (after the LP "Centro di Gravitá" and the EP "Estás en un sueño") and features similarly captivating drum machine patterns, synth sequences and echoed lyrics (mostly sung in Italian) that create a musical depth reminiscent maybe of groups like Tomaga or Aemong. (DJs bought this.)

The EP "Immagina il passato, ricorda il futuro" came out on cassette in an edition of 100, gold-coloured plastic, with J-Card and lyrics (printed at Risoclub Leipzig).
